In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. A Life of Humility Throughout his life, St. John embodied humility, recognizing that his gifts and insights were meant for the glorification of God. His example shows us that true greatness lies in serving others and surrendering to God’s will. He calls us to live humbly, fostering a spirit of service in all aspects of life. O St. John of Damascus, model of humility, inspire us to serve others selflessly as you did. Help us to recognize the gifts bestowed upon us and use them for the glory of God and the betterment of those around us. May we always seek to place God and others before ourselves.
