In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Empathy and Radical Love John’s life was marked by radical love and empathy for the afflicted. His deep understanding of suffering allowed him to nurture and comfort the sick beyond mere duty. This devout love is a testament to how personal struggles can mold one's capacity for compassion. O beloved John, your empathetic heart is a light for all who serve. Teach me, too, to embrace the struggles of others with understanding and love. May I learn to see the face of Christ in all who suffer. Help me to develop greater empathy and love for those who are struggling.
