St Juan Diego Novena - Day 1

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Call of the Virgin on Tepeyac On December 9, 1531, Juan Diego encountered a radiant figure on Tepeyac Hill, who identified herself as the 'ever-perfect holy Mary, who has the honor to be the mother of the true God.' This miraculous event marked the beginning of a transformative journey for Juan Diego, steering him toward a vital mission. It was through the simplicity of his initial encounter that he began to understand the profound role that Mary would play in his life and the lives of countless others. O St. Juan Diego, you were blessed to meet the Mother of God on Tepeyac Hill. Pray for us, that we, too, may recognize the calls of the divine in our lives. Help us to respond with humility and trust, just as you did. May your example inspire us to listen attentively to God's voice. I ask for your intercession as I seek clarity in discerning God’s calling in my own life.
