St Juan Diego Novena - Day 2

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Gathering the Roses Two days after his initial encounter, Mary instructed Juan Diego to gather roses from a barren hill. This miraculous act took place despite it being winter, showing Juan Diego's obedience to Mary’s request and the extraordinary nature of his mission. The roses symbolized not only the beauty of Mary's love but also the grace bestowed upon him as he continued to have faith in the miraculous. O humble St. Juan Diego, you gathered roses at the request of the Blessed Mother. Pray for us, that we may also respond to God’s invitations with trust and dedication. Let your obedience remind us of the beauty that faith can bring forth in our lives. I ask for your intercession that I may find beauty and grace in following God’s desires.
