Sacrificing for the Needy Before your martyrdom, you chose to give away the Church's treasures, embodying true charity and selflessness. Your actions highlight the importance of prioritizing the needy above oneself, setting a powerful example for all Christians. May this spirit of sacrifice and love inspire our everyday actions. O St. Lawrence, model of selflessness, teach us to prioritize the needs of others. May we be willing to sacrifice our comfort for those in need and reflect your boundless charity. Inspire us to live lives of generosity and compassion. Amen. Help us to always place the needs of others first in our lives.
