In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Enduring Chronic Pain Your decades of chronic pain became a source of deep spiritual insight and connection with the suffering of Christ. Each day, as you faced trials of fever, vomiting, and relentless thirst, you transformed your suffering into a pathway for prayer and redemption. Your life encourages us to perceive our own struggles as opportunities for growth in faith and reliance on God. O Saint Lydwine, through your courageous bearing of chronic pain, you taught us to find meaning in suffering. May your intercession give us the fortitude to turn our trials into prayers, deepening our trust in God's love. Help us to unite our suffering with Christ’s for the sake of others.
