Your experience teaches us about the redemptive power of pain when offered in union with Christ. O Saint Lydwine, your stigmata bear witness to your union with Christ in His suffering. Intercede for us that we may embrace our own crosses, finding holiness even in the most painful experiences. Help us to recognize that our sufferings are not in vain, but carry great meaning.
