In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Arrival in Scotland When Margaret arrived in Scotland in 1068, she faced the hardships of being a refugee, but she transformed her trials into a source of compassion. Her early experiences of displacement instilled in her a deep empathy for the struggles of others, which guided her charitable actions as queen. This foundational moment set the stage for her lifelong commitment to serving those in need. O St. Margaret, you who embraced the challenges of your journey to Scotland, teach us to find strength in adversity. May we respond to our own trials with compassion and love for others, reflecting your example of charity. Help us to remember that our struggles can prepare our hearts to help those in need.
