In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Recognizing the Divine in the Poor Martin's iconic encounter with the beggar illustrates the profound truth that in serving the least among us, we serve Christ Himself. His actions remind all believers that true charity is both an act of love and a recognition of the divine presence in the marginalized. This awareness invites us to see every act of kindness as a reflection of our faith. O St. Martin, who saw Christ in the beggar, open our eyes to the needs of those around us. Help us to serve with hearts full of love, recognizing the dignity of every person we encounter, and inspire us to act with compassion and cheerfulness. Pray for us, St. Martin, that we may always serve others with the same love you exemplified.
