In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Witness to the Ministry of Christ As an apostle, Matthew experienced the public ministry of Jesus firsthand, witnessing miracles, teachings, and the love of Christ for all people. His experiences enriched his understanding of Jesus as the Messiah, further solidifying his mission to spread the Gospel. Matthew's attentive observation serves as a reminder for us to actively engage with our faith and the work of Christ in our lives. O learned Saint Matthew, you were a witness to the life of Jesus. Help us to observe, understand, and live out His teachings in our daily lives. May we, like you, become ardent instruments of His message. Through your intercession, may I be more attentive to the workings of God in my life.
