In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Refusing to Compromise Throughout his ministry, Matthew faced opposition and hostility due to his faith. Yet, he remained resolute, embodying the courage necessary to preach the Gospel despite the challenges. His unwavering commitment is a striking reminder that faith often requires sacrifice and steadfastness against adversity. O brave Saint Matthew, you faced trials for your faith with unwavering resolve. Encourage us to stand firm in our beliefs, even when faced with difficulty. Help us to be fearless in the proclamation of the Good News, just as you were. Through your intercession, I seek the strength to be steadfast in my faith during challenging times.
