In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Chosen Apostle In the wake of Judas Iscariot's betrayal, you stood as a testament to divine providence, chosen by God through the casting of lots to restore the number of apostles to twelve. This act symbolized the completeness and foundation of the Church. Your calling reminds us that God selects each of us for a special purpose in His plan, often in unexpected ways. O Saint Matthias, chosen by God to be one of His apostles, inspire us to respond to our own callings with faithfulness. Help us to recognize our divine purpose and serve the Church with steadfast dedication. Intercede for our intentions that we may embrace our vocations wholeheartedly.
