This illustration reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice and the profound love you showed for Christ by laying down your life. Your martyrdom calls us to reflect on our own commitment to Jesus' teachings, even in the face of adversity. O glorious Saint Matthias, may your courage in the face of suffering instill in us the resolve to remain faithful to Christ. Help us to embrace our own crosses as paths to holiness.
