The Birth of a Saint Born on January 8, 1894, in Zduńska Wola, Poland, Maximilian Kolbe was raised in a deeply religious family. His early immersion in Catholic teachings laid the foundation for a life devoted to God and service. From a young age, he displayed an unwavering faith that would define his life's mission. O St. Maximilian, born into a family steeped in faith, inspire us to cultivate a deep love for God from our earliest years. May your example encourage our families to nurture faith in the young, that they may grow to live as you did, in love and service to others. Guide us in prayer and action as we build our own communities rooted in Christ's love. Through your intercession, may we grow in faith as you did from a young age and embody the spirit of love and charity.
