In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Faith in Adversity When the Nazi regime arrested you in 1941, your faith did not waver. Instead, you became a beacon of hope for other prisoners, demonstrating unwavering strength and compassion despite immense suffering. Your example teaches us the importance of holding onto faith in the face of trials. O brave St. Maximilian, bolster our faith in times of adversity. Help us to face our own challenges with the courage and dignity you displayed, reminding us that beauty can emerge from suffering, and love can flourish even in darkness. May we find strength in our faith when trials arise, inspired by your courageous spirit.
