In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Rescue of Three Daughters One of the most celebrated stories of St. Nicholas is the miraculous rescue of three daughters from a dire fate. A poor man, unable to provide dowries for his daughters, was desperate to save them from servitude. Nicholas, learning of their plight, secretly provided the means for their marriages, exemplifying his commitment to restoring dignity and hope to those in despair. O St. Nicholas, protector of the vulnerable, grant us the wisdom to act on behalf of those who are helpless. May we always seek to restore dignity through our actions and be instruments of hope in the lives of others.
