A Beacon During Conflict During the turmoil of World War II, Padre Pio became a beacon of hope to many, offering blessings and counsel to those heading to battle. His presence provided comfort and spiritual support to soldiers and their families during uncertain times. O St. Padre Pio, you offered solace to those in despair during the darkest days of conflict. Help us to be bearers of peace and light in our own communities, especially in times of struggle. Guide me to be a source of hope for those in distress.
