In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Faith Amidst Opposition Peter Chanel faced fierce resistance from local chieftains who viewed him as a threat to their authority. Despite the hostility, he remained steadfast in his faith and mission, a testament to enduring courage in the face of adversity. His example encourages us to stand firm in our beliefs, even when faced with challenges. O St. Peter Chanel, you remained unwavering in your faith despite the opposition you encountered. Grant us the strength to uphold our convictions in times of trial. May your courage inspire us to bear witness to our beliefs boldly and peacefully. Intercede for us, that we may stand firm in our faith amid challenges. May I have the courage to uphold my faith even when it is tested.
