His life and death became a beacon of hope and transformation for the people of Futuna. This illustrates the profound impact one person’s faith can have on a community, igniting change and renewal. O St. Peter Chanel, witness to transformative love, your life inspired many to embrace Christ. Help us to be instruments of change in our communities, reflecting the light of the Gospel through our actions. May our own lives inspire others as you inspired the islanders of Futuna. Intercede for us, that we may lead others to Christ with our witness. May my actions reflect the transformative love of Christ in the world.
