Facing Illness with Grace Your battle with poliomyelitis in 1925 highlighted the fragility of life, yet you faced this illness with remarkable grace and courage. Even in your suffering, you continued to inspire those around you, showcasing the strength of your faith and spirit. The love and support of your family and friends during your illness were a testament to the impact you had on others throughout your life. O brave St. Pier Giorgio, grant me the strength to face my trials with the same grace as you. Teach me to accept suffering as a part of life, finding purpose and peace even in challenging times. May your example of faith inspire me to remain hopeful and courageous. Intercede for me in my moment of need, that I may find solace in my struggles.
