In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Called to Serve as a Deacon You were chosen as one of the first seven deacons in the early Church, tasked with caring for the community, distributing food, and preaching the Gospel. Your willingness to serve exemplifies the selflessness that lies at the heart of true leadership in Christ’s name, demonstrating that serving others is a fundamental aspect of discipleship. O glorious St. Stephen, you embraced the call to serve with humility and grace. Help me to follow your example in my own acts of service, that I may bring comfort and aid to those in need. I ask for your intercession in my intention, that I may live a life dedicated to serving others.
