In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Humble Beginnings in Pouy You began your life in Pouy, a humble setting that shaped your sensitivity to the struggles of the marginalized. Coming from poor peasant farmers, you intimately understood the material and spiritual needs that would later inspire your life's work. This early connection to poverty instilled in you a profound compassion that guided your mission. O Saint Vincent de Paul, you were born in simplicity and embraced the struggles of the poor. May your humble beginnings inspire us to recognize the dignity in every person we encounter. Help us to cultivate a heart of service towards those in need, as you did with such grace. Teach us to be attuned to the cries of the marginalized in our own communities. I ask for your intercession in my personal intention.
