The Vision of the Vincentians In 1625, you founded the Congregation of the Mission, dedicated to serving the poor through preaching and education. This remarkable vision addressed not only the spiritual, but also the educational needs of those who were often overlooked in rural areas. Your drive to empower others became a cornerstone of your legacy. O faithful Saint Vincent, you forged a path of hope through education and service. May your vision guide us to educate ourselves and others in the spirit of charity. Help us to realize that through knowledge and compassion, we can change lives, just as you changed so many.
