Martyrdom Amid Persecution During the Diocletian persecution, your steadfastness was tested as you faced arrest for your faith. Despite enduring harsh tortures, you remained unwavering, refusing to renounce Christ even in the face of certain death. Your courageous acceptance of martyrdom is a powerful reminder of true faith and conviction under dire circumstances. O brave martyrs, Saints Cosmas and Damian, inspire us to stand firm in our faith, even when challenged. Help us to embrace the virtue of courage that you displayed, knowing that our convictions may lead to trials. Through your intercession, may we grow in strength and resilience in our own lives.
