Thanksgiving Prayer

O Almighty God, you are the Father of all mercies, and we, your humble servants, come before you to express our deepest gratitude for the abundant goodness and kindness you have shown us. We praise you for our creation and for sustaining our lives. Most of all, we thank you for the immeasurable love you displayed by sending your only Son, Jesus Christ, so that we may have eternal life instead of facing destruction. We are grateful for the teachings of His Gospel, the power found in His Cross, the sacramental signs of His grace in our lives today, and the assured hope of eternal union with Him. In the name of Jesus and for His glory, we pray, loving Father, that you would pour out your Holy Spirit upon us, granting us a true understanding of your mercies. Let our hearts be filled with sincere and unreserved gratitude. May we continually sing your praises and reflect them in our actions. Help us to dedicate ourselves to your service by serving others, and may we walk humbly and thankfully before you all the days of our lives, through our Lord Jesus Christ.Amen.
