The Clown's Prayer

As I navigate through this journey of life, grant that I may bring forth more joy than sorrow, share more delight than sadness, and offer more smiles than loneliness. Help me to remain sensitive and aware, so I may always appreciate the amazement found in a child's gaze or the sparkle in an older person's eyes. Let me never lose sight of my purpose, which is to uplift others, to spread joy, and to allow them a brief escape from the hardships they face. Finally, in my last moments, may I hear You softly say: ‘Through your laughter and cheer, you brought joy to My heart.’
