The Golden Arrow Prayer

Eternal Father, turn away Your gaze of wrath from our sinful people, whose countenance has become marred in Your sight. Instead, gaze upon the Face of Your Beloved Son, for in Him You find pleasure and delight. We present to You this Holy Countenance, marred with shame and disfigured by wounds and bruises, as reparation for the sins of our time, seeking to calm Your just anger against us. Your Divine Son, our Savior, has borne upon Himself all the transgressions of His people, that they may be saved. Hence, we implore You, Eternal Father, to show us Your mercy.Amen.
