The Guardian Angel's Lament

You have grieved the spirit that cherished you, and kept watch over your ways for so long. At last, I now sigh for you, in quietness, in stillness, and with tears. For my Father in Heaven, I cared for you; for His love, I have safeguarded your path. I implore you to return, to love Him, to serve Him, and to offer Him your praise. I continue to hover over your journey through life, to provide comfort, solace, and cheer; with the affection of a devoted, protective brother, as you traverse this wilderness of trials and fears. Oh! When will I embrace you so lovingly and carry you, free from all past dangers, into the arms of God who gives Himself for you, to finally reach our eternal home in the heavens!
