The Holy Face

O Jesus, who in Your profound suffering, became the most despised among men, a man of grief, I honor Your Sacred Face, once radiant with the beauty and sweetness of the divine; yet now, it seems to me like the face of one afflicted. Yet, beneath those marred features, I see Your boundless Love, and I yearn to love You and inspire love for You among all people. The tears that flow from Your holy eyes appear to me as precious pearls that I long to collect in order to redeem the souls of the wretched with their infinite worth. O Jesus, whose beloved Face captivates my soul, I ask You to imprint Your Divine likeness deeply within me and ignite me with Your Love, so that I may be deemed worthy to behold Your glorious Face in Heaven.Amen.
