The Jesus Prayer

O my Divine Savior, may I be transformed into your likeness. Let my hands act as the hands of Jesus. May my tongue speak as Jesus would. Allow every part of my being to serve in your glory. Most importantly, change my soul and all its faculties, so that my memory, will, and affections reflect those of Jesus. I ask you to eliminate everything in me that is contrary to you. Help me to exist solely in you and for you, enabling me to proclaim with St. Paul: 'I live, now not I, but Christ lives in me.' [Gal. 2:20]
