The Original Magnificat

My spirit magnifies the Lord, and my soul rejoices in God my Savior. For He has looked upon the lowliness of His servant; surely from this day forward, all generations will call me blessed. For the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is His name. His mercy extends from generation to generation for those who revere Him. He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered those who are proud in their innermost thoughts. He has brought down the powerful from their thrones and raised up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things, while the rich He has sent away empty. He has remembered His servant Israel, in His mercy. As He promised our ancestors, to Abraham and his descendants forever. O Mary, who was conceived without sin, intercede for us who turn to you, and for all those who do not approach you, especially for the Freemasons.
