The Prayer, A Special Act Of Sorrow

Pardon my transgressions, O Lord, forgive me for all my offenses, the misdeeds of my youth, the faults of my spirit, the failings of my flesh, my neglect of duty, my grave sins, those I recall, and those I have kept buried so long that they now escape my memory. Grant me forgiveness for all my wrongdoings, O Lord. I express my heartfelt remorse for each and every one. I recognize that my sins have caused pain to your compassionate Heart, my Savior. Through the agony of your passion and death, liberate me from sin's grasp and renew within me a pure heart. O my Jesus, let go of my past. O my Lord Jesus, hold me in remembrance in Your Kingdom.Amen.
