The Prayer, Be With Me Today, O Lord.

May all my actions today find their beginning in You, O Lord. Instill dreams and aspirations within my heart, rejuvenate my weary spirit; remain by my side throughout this day. May all that I undertake today persist with Your guidance, O Lord. Accompany me in my endeavors; be my source of strength today. May all that I do today extend beyond myself, O Lord. Let my thoughts, my efforts, and my existence serve as blessings for Your kingdom; may they stretch beyond this moment. O God, today is fresh and distinct from every other day, for You design each day uniquely. Your everyday grace showers upon my soul like rich seed, even when my eyes struggle to perceive it. Today is one of those days Jesus assured me He would accompany me, a friend along my path. If I place my trust in Him, my life today holds unseen significance. My existence has meaning. "I have a purpose... I am a link in a chain, a thread connecting lives together. God has not made me without intent... Thus, I will place my faith in Him. No matter where I find myself, I cannot be discarded. God accomplishes all things with purpose. "He understands what He is doing."
