The Prayer, My Lord And God

You have entrusted each of us with a purpose to fulfill in our lives. Guide us in discovering this purpose, in utilizing it, and in sharing it generously with others. Grant us insight into the true essence of life, to come to know you, and to dwell in your presence. Lord, there are times when I wander away from your radiance and feel unworthy of being called your child. Yet, I am aware, Lord, that you are a compassionate Father who embraces me just as I am. Your love for me is unparalleled and unconditional, and it pains me to think of causing you sorrow. Strengthen me, my Lord, to reflect your likeness more fully. Help me recognize you in others and enable them to recognize you in me.Amen.
