The Prayer, Oh God Of Love.

O God of love, what greater method could you have chosen to inspire our hearts with affection for you? It was insufficient for you to take on human nature, and to endure many of our sufferings. It was not enough that you shed your precious blood for us, dying upon a cross meant for the guilty. Ultimately, you humbly became our nourishment, existing as bread, so that you might unite with our very souls. How sorrowful we would be if we fail to love you in this life! What anguish it will bring us, when we enter eternity, if we have not loved you! My Jesus, I never wish to leave this world without loving you. Oh, I am filled with remorse for the hurt I have caused you repeatedly. I feel deep sorrow, O Jesus, and I desire to die with contrition. Now I love you; I dedicate all my affections to you. My Jesus, having been drawn into your love, I renounce everything else. O Mother of my God, Mary, intercede with Jesus for me, and make me holy. Add this one more to the countless miracles you've performed, transform a sinner into a saint.Amen.
