The Prayer Psalm 22

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not lack anything. He has placed me in a lush meadow. He leads me to refreshing waters; He restores my spirit. He guides me along the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name. Even if I walk through the dark valley, I will not fear any evil, for You are with me. Your staff and rod provide me comfort. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my adversaries. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows with blessings. Surely Your goodness and mercy will accompany me all my days, and I will reside in the house of the Lord for eternity. He tends to His flock as a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that are nursing.
