Lord, I wish to express my deep desire for Your grace to help me as I commit to renewing my baptismal promises. I turn away from everything that is displeasing to You and seek to live a life transformed in Your service. I reject the devil along with all his enticements, the allure of this world and its greedy desires, every sinful indulgence allowed by the law, and anything that may distract my heart from You or obstruct my responsibilities toward You.
