We implore You, O Lord, to be our aid and shield. Rescue those who suffer among us; show compassion to those who are humble; lift up those who have stumbled; come to the aid of the needy; heal those who are sinful; bring back the strayers from Your flock; provide sustenance to the hungry; free our captives; uplift the ill; and console the weary.
