Heavenly Father, we seek Your truth today, wrapping it around ourselves like a secure belt. We don the zeal to proclaim Your message of peace, as if it were shoes for our feet. We wear Your righteousness, Christ, as our breastplate, and the hope of salvation as our protective helmet. We lift our faith, Father, taking it up like a shield that extinguishes all the fiery darts of the evil one. We wield the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, O Lord. May the love with which You cherished Jesus be in us, and may Jesus dwell within us. We ask for the grace to have a heart of a servant.Amen.
