Santo padroeiro de Jardins

Em Louvor à Criação
O Almighty and most compassionate God, before our first ancestors, Adam and Eve, fell into sin, they thrived in the bliss of the Garden of Eden. There, as Your Holy Scripture recounts, You would stroll with them in the cool of the day, and they could hear Your presence in the garden. Afterward, our Lord Jesus Christ commenced His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane, where He shed blood in anguish. Ever since that moment, a garden has been deemed sacred. You continue to walk among us in these places, during the cool of the day, alongside those who recognize Your abundant and loving care in the verdant growth and fruitfulness of the trees: those who see, reflected in every tree, the cross of Christ, and in every thorn, His crown of thorns. We ask You to bless all our gardens and orchards across this expansive land, dear God, and grant us bountiful and nourishing harvests. As we labor, may we perceive Your tender mercy actively working for us and with us. Aid us in fulfilling Your will at every moment. Then, one day, we hope to walk with You, Your Son, and our beloved Mother Mary along the paths of another Garden, one far greater and more wonderful than the Garden of Eden. Amen.
