Amandina of Schakkebroek

Amandina of Schakkebroek was born in the late 19th century in the Netherlands. Growing up in a devout Catholic family, she was deeply influenced by her faith from a young age. This early foundation would lead her to join the religious community of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, which was founded by St. John Bosco. Amandina’s commitment to her vocation was characterized by her compassionate spirit and dedication to the education and welfare of youth.

After entering the convent, Amandina devoted herself to teaching and helping young girls, embodying the mission of her order. Her days were filled with prayer, teaching, and service, reflecting the values instilled in her during her formative years.
