Antoine Chevrier

Antoine Chevrier was born on December 30, 1826, in the city of Lyon, France. The son of a father who was a civil servant and a mother deeply committed to her faith, Antoine's early life was influenced by a strong Catholic upbringing. He developed a love for the Church and a deep compassion for the suffering around him. As a young man, he felt a call to the priesthood, which he pursued with dedication.
