Bonaventure Tornielli

Bonaventure Tornielli was born in 1647 in the small town of Monticelli d’Ongina, Italy. From a young age, he exhibited a profound sense of spirituality and a desire to serve God, which would define his life’s journey. During his novitiate, Bonaventure embraced the Capuchin way of life, known for its rigorous spiritual discipline and commitment to preaching the Gospel.

Bonaventure was ordained a priest in 1672, and he quickly became known for his fervent preaching and pastoral care.
