Bronisław Markiewicz

Bronisław Markiewicz was born on July 19, 1842, in the small town of Przemyśl, Poland. Growing up in a devout Catholic family, he was instilled with a deep love for his faith and a desire to serve others from an early age. After completing his education, he entered the seminary, where he discerned his vocation to the priesthood. He was ordained a priest in 1867.

Following his ordination, Markiewicz dedicated his life to pastoral work, particularly focusing on the youth and the poor. His feast day is celebrated on January 29, the anniversary of his death, serving as a reminder of the impact one dedicated individual can have on the lives of many. Today, he is remembered not only as a priest but as a model of charity, faith, and tireless service to the community, inspiring countless others to follow in his footsteps.
