Saint Contardo of Este

Saint Contardo of Este, also known as Saint Cunegundes, was born in the early 13th century in Italy. His family belonged to the nobility, and from a young age, Contardo exhibited a profound dedication to his faith and a desire to serve God. He was well-educated and had a natural inclination towards holiness, which eventually led him to pursue a life of prayer and service beyond the comforts of nobility.
