James Won Si-bo

St. James Won Si-bo was born in Korea in the late 19th century, a time when the burgeoning Catholic faith faced severe persecution. St. James was arrested due to his refusal to renounce his faith. The authorities sought to pressure him to abandon his beliefs, offering him freedom if he would simply reject Christianity.
