John of Parma

St. John of Parma was born around 1209 in the city of Parma, Italy. He entered the Franciscan Order, founded by St. Francis of Assisi, and became known for his profound intellect and deep commitment to the ideals of poverty and humility that defined Franciscan spirituality.
