Marian Górecki

St. Marian Górecki was born on December 9, 1901, in the small village of Wola Książęca, Poland. He grew up in a devout Catholic family, deeply rooted in the traditions of the Church. From a young age, he exhibited a profound sense of compassion and a desire to serve others, qualities that would define his life's work. His innate spirituality and commitment to God led him to pursue the priesthood, and he began his studies for the priesthood in the theological seminary in Łodz.

After his ordination on July 15, 1928, Father Górecki was assigned to various parishes, where he quickly earned a reputation for his pastoral care and dedication to the community. He focused not only on spiritual guidance but also on meeting the physical and emotional needs of his parishioners. He initiated programs to support the needy and worked tirelessly to provide education and social assistance to those struggling in his community.
