Eastertide
The longest feast of all — the Church celebrates the Resurrection from Easter Sunday through Pentecost. Divine Mercy Sunday, the Ascension, and Pentecost to close.
This season’s great days are Easter Sunday (Mar 28), Divine Mercy Sunday (Apr 4), and Annunciation of the Lord (Apr 5).

Fifty days of Easter joy
Eastertide is the longest feast of all — fifty days of joy, from Easter Sunday through Pentecost, celebrating the Resurrection of the Lord.
The season carries Divine Mercy Sunday and the Ascension, and closes with Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit. The Easter candle burns throughout, and Alleluia returns to every prayer.
