We are in the Twenty-sixth Week of Ordinary Time — the Church wears green.

The long, green stretch between the great seasons — the everyday of faith, where most of the Christian life is actually lived. Today, though, the Church sets that aside and wears white — for the memorial of Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face of Lisieux Virgin.
